Responsible for enterprise virtual infrastructure, directory and collaboration
services
, storage area network and data recovery environment in a multisite environment. This includes monitoring, planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing core infrastructure service, operating system, hardware upgrades, user account management, workflow analysis, log analysis, troubleshooting and service optimization.
Perform preproduction planning - gather business requirements, design, document and implement IT solutions that meet established requirements and standards.
Provides analysis of needs and recommends effective solutions to meet user and business objectives.
Demonstrated understanding and application of the OSI model in trouble-shooting issues.
Demonstrated experience in the support of an enterprise Virtualization and Windows environment, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, LDAP, Remote Imaging Services and Distributed File Services. Demonstrated proficiency in system backup, disaster recovery, planning, virus protection, and security patch distribution.
Demonstrated ability to utilize remote access tools to provide support when needed. Bachelor's degree or combination of industry certifications and 6
years of demonstrated industry experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) within two years of employment required.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays required.
Ability to serve in On-call rotation required.
Knowledge of Microsoft OS and Office suite software programs required.
Working knowledge of and ability to effectively utilize remote desktop tools required.
Ability to successfully pass annual technology competency assessment testing required.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to effectively direct team members to insure consistent adherence to regulations, controls and policies
Strong understanding of Active Directory.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux.
Experience with HP and IBM server hardware.
Experience implementing and troubleshooting RAID arrays.
Experience with scripting languages.
Experience with System Management Server.
BS in

Science, MCITP,
5-10 years experience with AD, Exchange, Virtualization, Server Configuration and migration, EMC and or Hitachi Storage solutions.
