Come see for yourself!Our Early Intervention program is currently seeking an Administrative Support Coordinator to provide receptionist, referral, and data entry support.
As the Administrative Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Protecting the rights and dignities of individuals with developmental disabilities and extending these rights and dignities to family members or guardiansCollecting referral information through various channels such as voicemail, phone conversations, or emailAssisting in the coordination of family transitions from external Early Intervention agencies or other EI stakeholders which may include in state and out of state familiesAbiding by the Rhode Island Early Intervention CompetenciesConducting thorough research utilizing the Statewide electronic medical record platform to ensure children are not enrolled elsewhere, ensuring accuracy in case assignmentsPerforming receptionist duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and communicating with appropriate staff membersCollaborating with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) to obtain necessary documentation for casesSupporting the EI Director in assigning cases to service coordinators and communicating reasons for referralAssisting with caseload management by reviewing staff caseloads in order to assign new casesCollaborating with Data Entry Specialist to ensure the accuracy of information for proper billing and reimbursementInitiating the appropriate correspondence, such as 10-day letters and/or Thank You letters to referral source if families are unreachablePerforming other duties as directed by the supervisor related to the organization's mission, goals, and operationsEducation/Requirements:
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent requiredBilingual in English and Spanish requiredAssociate or bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferredAt least two years of experience working with children in an early childhood, educational, or early intervention setting preferredMust have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and safe driving recordAccess to a personal vehicle to be used as directedWorking at the Trudeau Center will give you an opportunity to be a part of a non-profit agency that has been supporting children and adults who are differently abled for more than 50 years! The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
