What are you waiting for, consider this amazing next step! Under the general guidance of the Vice President of Talent Development, this role supports all Training and Development efforts within the company.
You will spend your time managing the Management Development Program (MDP), compliance training software, onboarding new General Managers and Directors of Sales, specialized topic training and brand training.
You will work daily with the corporate and property HR TEAMs, property General Managers and the property level TEAMs.
This position is based in Rhode Island and requires frequent travel to hotels in our portfolio.
How you will spend your time:
Coach and mentor students within the Management Development Program (MDP) from enrollment to graduation.
Track hotel and corporate compliance within our compliance training program.
Oversee and conduct onboarding of new General Managers and Directors of Sales.
Assist in tracking of brand training compliance by property.
Assist with hotel acquisitions and transitions.
Ability to travel to different dynamic locations several times per month.
Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.
Specific Job Knowledge & Skills:
Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to continuous learning Experience in hotel operations departments, such as:
Housekeeping, Front Office, Food and Beverage, etc.

Degree in Hospitality or business management preferred.
Excels in training, motivating, evaluating, mentoring, and directing TEAM Members, empowering them to achieve exceptional results and align with organizational objectives.
Ability to multitask, work in a demanding environment and have an elevated level of attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
