0 Warwick, RI Warwick, RI Full-time Full-time $20 an hour $20 an hour Role Overview The Compliance and Quality Control Associate is responsible for ensuring all cultivation and production operations comply with state, federal, and local laws, as well as maintaining the highest levels of quality control throughout the cultivation process.
This role involves regular audits, process reviews, and collaboration with the cultivation team to ensure compliance and quality objectives are met consistently.
Duties/Responsibilities Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments within the cultivation facility to ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal standards.
Monitor and verify that all cultivation activities are performed in accordance with state, federal, and local laws.
Implement and manage quality control measures and protocols to ensure high-quality product output.
Collaborate with teams to develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with compliance and quality standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cultivation processes, audits, and compliance documentation.
Provide compliance, safety, and quality control training and support to staff.
Stay informed of changes in cannabis laws and regulations and ensure timely updates to policies and procedures.
Investigate and address compliance issues or quality concerns promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and inspectors during audits and inspections, providing required documentation and information if needed Participate in the continuous improvement of cultivation processes through quality control and compliance initiatives.
Input data into seed-to-sale tracking systems Generate reports tracking plant and package movements Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Requirements Experience in cannabis cultivation, compliance, or quality control is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of state and federal cannabis laws and regulatory requirements.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-related software programs.
Must be able to occasionally lift items up to 40 lbs Must be able to stand for extended period of time Job Type:
