Duties - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques - Provide emotional support to patients and their families - Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans - Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of licensed nurses - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Administer basic life support when necessary - Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or behavioral health needs - Assist with IV infusion as directed by healthcare professionals - Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and safety - Utilize eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical record systems Skills To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong critical care skills to provide high-quality patient care - Ability to lift and move patients safely using proper body mechanics - Experience in providing dementia care and managing behavioral health needs - Knowledge of basic life support techniques and ability to respond to emergencies - Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation - Familiarity with IV infusion procedures and protocols - Experience in senior care, understanding the unique needs of elderly patients - Ability to navigate electronic medical record systems like eClinicalWorks or similar platforms - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals If you are a dedicated individual with a passion for patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
