Unit Assistant /CNA Training

Sunnyview Nursing Home - We are searching for dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individuals to be the link between our residents and the nurses and other facility staff.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) interacts directly with residents, providing comfort and care, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting with their daily living needs.
In this position, you will gain experience working on the floor in a unit assistant role while you complete coursework and clinical hours to sit for the state test for your CNA license.
Some Unit Assistant Duties Include:
o Make sure linen carts and supplies are adequate.
o Empty dirty laundry carts and replace clean laundry bags.
o Review the shower list, strip beds and remake with clean fresh linen.
o Pass out and collect food trays.
o Calculate intake for residents.
o Answer call lights.
Notify CNA/Nurse as needed.
o Keep hallways clean and free of clutter.
o Clear tables after meals and wash tables.
o Make sure all dirty dishes and trash from resident's bedside tables are removed and wipe down tables.
o Assist CNA's by retrieving items as requested.
o Make Beds/or turn them down on 2nd shift o Assist transporting residents to dining room, activities, etc.
o Assist CNAs with drink cart.
o Wash eyeglasses, turn TV's on/off for residents, deliver a box of tissues, give a hand massage with lotion, brush their hair, polish nails.
o One on one for restless residents or elopement risks.
o Be sure every resident has a call light within reachAlways:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
