Description:
Responsible for analyzing financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred. 7-10 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
Skills and Competencies:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed. Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
Major Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Prepare, examine or analyze accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements. Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities.
Job Details:
Responsible for documenting the business requirements and business processes used for financial and regulatory reporting.
- Previous banking experience preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Identify instances where estimates or business rules are used in reporting rather than reporting at the detailed loan level
- For business rules where estimates are used, meet with subject matter experts and business support colleagues to identify data sources at the loan level and implement revised processes by 6/30 reporting.
- Document new processes and procedures including controls and reconciliations to general ledger accounts.
- Develop a new manual process to achieve full non accrual accounting treatment.
- Develop process flows and communicate with down stream stakeholders to identify and incorporate their business requirements into the plan.
- Lead project team to implement new requirements to achieve full compliance with non accrual accounting treatment.
- Strong communication, people management and leadership skills required.
- Proficient in Excel, especially with pivot tables and v/h lookups
- Strong analytical skills.

- Ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
