#### What You Will Be Doing
As our Software Developer, you will implement and ship product features that power local commerce. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and DevOps engineers to coordinate efforts and rapidly iterate on features, scale our network to handle billions of dollars of payments and business data and architect our back-end data processing infrastructure to power and anticipate our future product initiatives. You will engage with open source efforts and technology communities.
The ideal candidate will have rock-solid computer science and engineering fundamentals in Linux. You must be driven both to develop personally and to contribute to team strength and culture. You must possess a proven track record of shipping quality software in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, have experience with web services, distributed systems, and service-oriented architectures and have experience with Rails, Ruby, AWS, or comparable Linux technologies.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is preferred
